Vaginal Rejuvenation Shots
The vaginal rejuvenation shot is an autologous platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injectable that provides a specific way of using growth factors to stimulate multi-potent stem cells to generate healthier and more functional tissue in the areas of sexual response and urinary continence within the vagina (g-spot, clitoris, Skene’s glands, urethra, and vaginal wall).
The stem cells used will originate from the patient’s own blood, platelets, and bone marrow.
What is it used for?
The vaginal rejuvenation shot can help women with the following areas of concern:
- Decreased arousal, sensation, or orgasm ability (female sexual arousal)
- Dyspareunia and vaginal dryness, including genitourinary syndrome of menopause
- Mild stress urinary incontinence
What areas are treated?
The vaginal rejuvenation shot can be injected to the following areas:
- Tissue near the clitoral body
- Upper anterior vaginal wall (Skene’s gland area)
When will I see results?
Overall improvement of sexual arousal is usually gradual over several weeks after procedure. There is no need to judge results early! You can schedule a 3-month office or telehealth appointment to decide if second treatment is necessary.
