Testimonials & Reviews
One of the best things about Hawaii is the sense of community. People are welcoming, friendly and accept everyone as part of their family. We also think of our patients as family members and work hard to make them happy. Below are just some of the testimonials we’ve received from happy patients.
My friend and I both came together for some “youth maintenance” heehee.. We had the BEST time. The office is classy, clean and cheerful. I think the front desk staff is extremely professional, kind and accommodating. I have had nothing but pleasant experiences at this office. We requested Patricia to do our services because I have seen her before. As always she exceeds expectations! She is truly an artist. Very professional, takes her time with you and makes you feel important. I love when doctors/nurse aren’t rushing around the room busy busy trying to get you out fast. She sat down, looked us in the eye and really found out exactly what we each wanted and how we could accomplish that. She is honest and upfront. We were thrilled and are so happy to be clients and this fabulous dermatology office. I would recommend Monica Scheel dermatology to anyone. I would also recommend asking for Patricia because I think she’s amazing! Thanks again guys!
When I walk into Dr. Scheel’s office, I know I will be well taken care of. It’s the best of both worlds: a spa-like feeling met with the highest medical standards and care. I’ve been coming here for years to get HydraFacials, IPLs, and chemical peels. This is also the only place I go to for sunscreen and skin care products. I love Monica’s personal line she created in the last several years and would highly recommend it. What I especially love about this office is their attention to detail and the personalized experience I always receive. When I became pregnant with my son, they tailored my treatments to make sure that both me and my baby-on-the-way were safe the entire time.
From the minute you walk through the doors, the experience starts! I love everything about this office. From the staff, the products, and the many different procedures they offer. I have had everything from Botox , chemical peels and basal cell skin cancer removals. Regardless of the treatment or procedure the staff is extremely qualified and there to help you every step of the way.
This office is not just for the ladies. My wife got me a gift certificate at one of the office’s events for a full body skin check. While they were doing my skin check, they used MelaFind and detected a basal cell carcinoma on my cheek. Dr Scheel’s team did a great Mohs surgery on it. Was very impressed and glad I went in for a routine checkup.
If is was not for Dr Monica Scheel Dermatology Office, I would still not know that I had Melanoma on my leg. The spot was so small that I had not noticed it, and was discovered when I had my full body cancer screen check at Monica’s Office, with their professional and caring dedication to the customers.
This office is the best. I was having a hydrafacial and asked Linda Jo to look at something on my neck. She went and got one of the PA’s to look at it. It was biopsied and removed within two weeks. We are so lucky to have these people who listen to us and keep us well. And… keep us looking our best as we get older. Win, Win.
There is no one on this island or any other as qualified as Monica Scheel in dermatology. I’ve known Monica since her arrival to the islands in a professional capacity and was one of her first patients and I have stayed with her throughout the years even though my insurance does not cover her. The value she provides to her clients can not be paralleled.
Have known Monica since she first came to the Big Island. She and her staff are first rate. Knowledgable, professional, caring and a true “Aloha Spirit”, can be felt by her and all her wonderful colleagues.
