3 Best of West Hawaii Awards!

2016 Best of WestWe are truly honored to have been voted Best Physician/Doctor, Best Aesthetician and Best Business offering Facial and Body Treatments in West Hawaii! Our mission is genuine care for our patients, each other and the community we live in. We take extra time to get to know our patients and develop a treatment plan that is customized just for them. We also strive to give back to our community in a number of different ways. Dr. Scheel and her highly skilled team of Physician Assistants diagnose and treat a variety of dermatologic conditions of the hair, skin, and nails. Skin cancer detection and prevention is our number one priority. To this end, we spend about ten days a year offering free skin cancer screenings and educational talks. We are proud to be the only office in Hawaii to use the non-invasive, FDA approved Melafind to help diagnose potentially deadly skin cancers. We offer several skin cancer treatment options including Mohs surgery. Beyond diagnosing and treating other medical conditions such as acne, psoriasis, eczema, skin allergies and skin infections, we offer a full range of cosmetic dermatology services for skin rejuvenation. These include laser treatments, injectables, HydraFacials, peels and skin care products. Overall wellness and skin damage prevention are highly promoted and Dr. Scheel emphasizes continuing education for her staff to stay on theleading edge of both medical and cosmetic dermatology. “The best part of doing business in West Hawaii is that many of our patients have been coming to see us for the 10 years that we have been in practice here,” says Dr. Scheel. “They are like ‘ohana and often refer their friends and family to us because of our Expert, Personalized Skin Care.” Dr. Scheel currently serves as Board President for Peoples Advocacy for Trails Hawaii (PATH) as one of her passions is to see greenways preserved on our island. She also donates services to fundraising efforts for over 45 different island charities every year. We look forward to serving you!
