CO2 Laser Skin Resurfacing

CO2 Laser Skin Resurfacing: Mindy By Patsy Colvin, PA-C CO2 Laser skin resurfacing is recommended for moderate to severe skin wrinkles, brown spots, loss of elasticity, sun damage and minimizing scars due to acne, surgery or accidents. The CO2 Laser penetrates deepest of all our lasers, and uses fractional technology, which enhances healing. Treatment with the CO2 laser tightens the skin, decreases brown spots, reduces wrinkles and enhances the skin’s strength and elasticity. Best of all, the improvements just keep on coming, because the laser stimulates the skin to continue to produce collagen for 6 months! The CO2 laser also decreases the number of pre-cancers, or Actinic Keratoses, and reduces the risk of future skin cancers. Our subject , Mindy, is a serious athlete who had sun damaged skin, collagen loss, brown spots, deep wrinkles and poor skin elasticity. She had skin cancers on her jaw due to overexposure to the sun. After two CO2 Laser treatments, the damage is largely reversed, and her skin is improved in every way. The laser was even able to remove the skin cancers! Today her skin is tightened, her elasticity is improved, brown spots are gone and skin tones are even. The collagen has regenerated, wrinkles have been greatly reduced and there is a healthy glow to her skin. mindy   Mindy has also received Voluma to replace the lost volume in her cheeks, with a beautiful effect. She now uses Latisse on her eyebrows and eyelashes with breathtaking results! Use of pharmaceutical grade Skin Care products available at Monica Scheel Dermatology puts the “icing on the cake” for Mindy. Things to know about the CO2 Laser:
