Hawaii Island employers are transforming their workplaces and we are honored to have been selected as one of four employers recognized for their employee well-being programs by the Hawaii County’s Mayor’s Active Living Advisory Council!
A total of 22 employers participated in the program and were evaluated on criteria such as leadership and support, a wellness budget, and having wellness champions identified. Our office came in second place for the small business category. Each employee participated in a weekly anonymous web survey that helped keep management in touch with the employees in a risk free comfort zone. We’re constantly learning and growing with each others needs and concerns to keep us well on the inside and outside. And keeping our office environment healthy and well can only create a better environment to welcome and assist our patients in continuing to live well also!
