Melanoma Awareness Month- New video

According to the Skin Cancer Foundation, over 3.5 million skin cancers are diagnosed in the United States every year. It’s the most common form of cancer in the United States, and the number of women under 40 who are diagnosed has more than doubled in the last 30 years.

Most skin cancers can be found early with skin exams. Regular skin exams with your dermatologist are especially important for people who are at higher risk of skin cancer, such as people with reduced immunity, people who have had skin cancer before, and people with a strong family history of skin cancer.

Take a look at this video on what you can expect at an full-body skin check with Dr. Monica Scheel Dermatology.
