As a 35-year-old new mom, I look for treatments that help my tired skin brighten up a bit. I’m excited to introduce this peel-off, cooling HydroJelly mask that is mixed fresh in the treatment room. It gets its “jelly” name from the soft gel that sets on the skin and lightly seals for 15-20 minutes to allow actives and hydration to do their thing.
The golden ingredient here is NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide), and alongside niacinamide (and a touch of alpha-arbutin) in an alginate (seaweed) base with hydrators like sodium hyaluronate, makes for an effective product.
What is it good for?
- Dull, UV-stressed, or “tired” skin: NAD+ is a coenzyme involved in cellular repair/energy; paired with niacinamide, this mask is a nice “reset” when skin needs a recharge and more even tone.
- Early signs of aging: Helps skin look smoother and more resilient; a gentle add-on after non-ablative treatments.
- Used for most skin types (including sensitive): The jelly base is soothing and hydrating. Skip it if you’re sensitive to alginates/seaweed or willow bark/salicylates.
Best times for use
I reach for NAD+ Longevity as a finishing step when the goal is radiance, “recharge,” and tone balance, for example after microneedling or light laser when skin feels warm and needs a calm, hydrated seal.
If your main goal is a subtle lift/firm feel, I’d encourage our PLLA option instead. For overall glow and resilience, this NAD+ mask is my pick.
If you want me to tailor it to your treatment plan (or decide between NAD+ vs. PLLA for your skin), just tell me your goals and I’ll pair the right mask with your visit.
