Patsy Colvin, PA-C, graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Occupational Therapy in 1979. She went on to train as a Physician Assistant at the University of Southern California School of Medicine, graduating in 1983. She spent 20 years working in Hand Surgery and Rehabilitation in Los Angeles, Oahu, and Maui.
Ten years ago she turned her attention to the art and science of Dermatology, most recently practicing in Beverly Hills. She returns to Hawaii with much joy, looking forward to making her home on the Big Island. Patsy shares Dr. Scheel’s views on Integrative Dermatology and the importance of providing compassionate and comprehensive skin care, focusing on the whole person and the use of all appropriate therapeutic approaches to achieve optimum health and healing.
After graduate school, Patsy took a backpack and spent a year traveling around the world. As soon as her two daughters were old enough they began to join her in her travels. Together they have had many excellent adventures, with many more to come!
