Dr. Monica Scheel Dermatology is proud to be a 2014 sponsor of Team Mango Races, a local series of triathlons, cycling and running events in Kona. Since 1992, Team Mango has been providing safe, healthy community training opportunities for all ages and athletic abilities. Dr. Scheel will be providing sunscreen at events and staff members will be on hand volunteering and racing.
Congratulations go out to Cory McCord, a Dr. Monica Scheel sponsored athlete, on his win at the Team Mango Mini Monster half iron triathlon in February. Shirley Pratt from our office also placed third female in the event and thanks go to Mindy Gruber for volunteering and making sure athletes had access to sunscreen all morning and afternoon.
