We’ve been missing you all at Dr. Monica Scheel Dermatology! Genuine caring has always been our motto and we’ve continued that for everyone who has called or emailed us for help!
Thank you to those of you who supported our business by purchasing your skincare products from our online store. It’s helped to be able to carry on while we enhanced our office for you for the future.
This has been a very tough and different time for all of us and I hope you are safe at home with loved ones. I feel blessed that our island has been a healthy place to be during all of this. I hope you have all been able to find a silver lining during this difficult time by spending quality time with family and pets, doing home improvements, gardening, and enjoying our beautiful island home.
While we have been closed we have worked hard to revamp our clinic into an even cleaner, safer, and more caring place than ever before. We hope you like the new experience, it will be even more private and personalized to fit your needs.
We have also taken the opportunity to better our expert skincare. I completed my physician trainer certification for both Botox/Juvederm and for Dysport/Restylane. I’ve also done countless hours of continuing education and am very excited to teach the returning staff and also share updated cutting edge treatments and procedures with you!
Governor Ige continues to make medical clinics an essential service and this month is allowing us to restart elective surgeries and procedures. We are here for your dermatology needs and offer in-person or telehealth appointments. We can now also see you safely in our office for elective medical services!
Our May schedule is open 6 days a week in Kona to accommodate those of you who were unable to be seen from March 20th to the present. Dr. Monica and PA Natalie and PA Brooks are in Monday through Saturday. We will be calling you to get you on the schedule. We look forward to seeing you! Once we have rescheduled previously booked patients, we promise to work hard to get everyone in May or June, please call 329-1146 or go to our website at www.DrMonicaScheel.com to request an appointment online!
In June, we will expand services in our Kona clinic with the addition of PA Tricia doing medical and elective procedures, and Stephanie Ayau RN doing laser and aesthetic services (government mandates willing). We hope to open the Waimea clinic shortly after that.
